Jesus said in Mark 11:23, whoever believes in his heart that what he says occurs, will have what he says.
.
Jesus has taught us in this one Scripture that, what we speak has a great impact on how we live … what we speak today, frames how our tomorrow will be.
.
Am I crazy?
Have I made up a new doctrine?
Am I blindly following the heretical doctrine of the FAITH teachers?
.
No.
I am agreeing with Mark 11:24.
I am believing Jesus’ words.
.
Jesus taught that OUR TONGUES bring forth what we believe in our hearts (Matt 12:34, Luke 6:45)
And He taught, what we speak WILL occur (Mark 11:24)
.

Here are just a couple examples from the Bible of people RECEIVING exactly what the SPOKE, even if they weren’t even speaking the living, powerful Word of God. They were simply speaking.
For remember, whatever you SPEAK, if you believe it will occur, it will happen to you.
Whether it be bad words (poverty, lack, sickness, fear, anger, continual trouble, etc)
or whether it be good words (health, joy, peace, salvation, financial provision, etc)
we DO get what we say ….. Jesus said so (Mark 11:23).
#1 — Abram / Abraham
Abram had the Promise of a child for 20+ years.
No child came.
But once God said, “Your name will be Abraham“, the Promised birth came twelve months later (Genesis 17)
.
Think of this:
EVERY SINGLE DAY, many times per day, Abram was now forced to say “I am the father of many nations”. His herdsmen, his servants, and his wife, were forced to make the same CONFESSION.
He was calling things that were NOT, as though they already WERE !! (Romans 4:17)
.
Remember:
SPEAKING brings possession.
or as one Faith Teacher stated: CONFESSION BRINGS POSSESSION.

Confessing God’s Promises over your life, brings the Promises to reality for you.
For the Word of God is powerful and alive, but when it is sitting on a bookshelf or a nightstand, it is powerless.
The Word of God MUST BE SPOKEN in order to be powerful and alive.
.
YOU are the captain of your life, to turn your life around every obstacle that comes at you.
You are the captain, directing your tongue and steering your life, in the direction which YOU choose.
James 3:4 teaches so, when comparing our tongue to the small rudder of a large ship.
The little rudder directs the large ship, wherever the CAPTAIN desires to steer it.
And so it is with your TONGUE.
Whatever YOU speak, you will get.

Here’s more proof:
#2 — Pharaoh and the Frogs
How about the time when Moses said to Pharaoh, “I leave to you the honor of setting the time for me to pray … that you and your houses may be rid of the frogs” (Exodus 8:9-14). Pharaoh chose to keep the frogs over night and sure enough, the frogs stayed an extra day, even as Pharaoh had asked for. Exodus 8:13 even says, “The Lord did what Moses asked“.

Fast forwarding,
#3 — Jesus and death
Upon the news that Lazarus had died, Jesus stated, “Our friend Lazarus HAS FALLEN ASLEEP“.
Jesus did not state with His mouth that Lazarus was DEAD.
Jesus was callings that were not, as though they already were!
.
This was Christ’s first confession about the situation.
Jesus spoke the future / He spoke the outcome, BEFORE seeing it in the natural.
.
It was only when the disciples were pressuring Jesus about letting Lazarus sleep and get better, did Jesus actually tell them what was taking place currently, in the natural.
.
Jesus was not interested in SPEAKING what was taking place in the natural, otherwise.
He understood His Words dictated the future.
He believed that what He spoke would take place.
And He therefore spoke, Lazarus is only sleeping (John 11:11).

#4 — How about Jesus and Jairus
Jesus did the same thing with Jairus as He did with Lazarus.
Never did Jesus say Jairus’ girl was dead.
He told Jairus to believe, and when He arrived at the home He said, “The child is not dead but asleep” (Mark 5:39, Luke 8:52).

Why did the crowd laugh at this statement?
Because it was obvious that the girl was truly DEAD.
They knew. They checked.
Jesus did not have some special insight that the girl was actually asleep.
Jesus was SPEAKING the outcome, BEFORE it happened.
He was calling things that were not, as though they already were.
Jesus was STATING His future desire as PRESENT REALITY.
Jesus knew and understood, what He SAID, would occur!

This goes in line with Hebrews 11:1
Faith is your substance of things hoped for.
Faith is your proof and your evidence, that you presently HAVE what you SPEAK and believe for. {Thus the name of this Blogsite …. Faith SPEAKS.}

When you SPEAK the Promises as PRESENT TENSE REALITY over your life, THEN you will see them become reality in your life (If you will believe them, and not doubt … Mark 11:23 & 24).

Jesus even taught this to Martha, when Lazarus had died.
Jesus taught, IF you would first believe, THEN you would SEE the glory of God.
{And whatever we do believe, does come out of our mouths, for out of the abundance of our hearts, our mouths will speak.}
.
How about one final example.

#5 –Even satan understood the power of WORDS.
Isaiah teaches that satan SAID in his heart (RSV,NAS) or SAID to himself (NLT,HCSB), “I will ascend to the heavens; I will set up my throne. I will make myself like the Most High” (Is 14:13-14).
.
I never understood this Scripture, before I was enlightened to the power of our WORDS.
The statement bothered me that satan SAID, he was going to do something.
Why did Scripture say he SAID something.
Why didn’t Scripture say he THOUGHT ABOUT IT, or PLANNED to try to do the overthrowing of God.
It boggled my mind and it bothered me.
.
But now I understand that it is OUR TONGUES which direct our futures …. if we believe what we SAY occurs, then we WILL have what we SAY.
.
Think of this:
Satan lived with God and WATCHED GOD SPEAK things into existence.
Satan understood that SPEAKING words, created reality.
.
.
Now, just like satan, we won’t become God, just because we SAY so….there are some things God simply won’t allow.
But if you will look up all the Promises of God which cover any situation in your life, and speak them as TRUTH for your situation {which is actually SPEAKING as God speaks regarding your life} ….
If you will meditate on the Promises, keeping them in your heart and in your mind, until faith springs up (for faith comes by hearing God’s Word, Romans 10:17) ….
If you will keep the Word of God flowing from your mouth and not speak anything contrary to God’s Words and Promises …..
Then you can be sure that what you are SPEAKING WILL OCCUR.

God gave you the Promises to be your two-edged sword to fight the good fight of FAITH with already, therefore you can be SURE that it is God’s will for you to have exactly what He has said He has Promised is yours. His Word is His will. He does not Promise one thing, but will a different thing for your life. That would make him hypocritical, or a liar, or untrustworthy….everything He is not.

So start SPEAKING victory over your life, today.
Start SPEAKING “By Christ’s stripes I WAS healed” today.
Start SPEAKING “ALL my needs ARE met according to God’s riches in glory” today.
Start PROCLAIMING “My life IS hid in Christ Jesus, and nothing shall harm me” (Luke 10:19)
Start SPEAKING victory into your life, TODAY !!

PRAISE BE TO GOD Who has made it so simple for us to walk in victory.
It’s not by our perfection.
It’s not by our slugging it out in the flesh.
It’s not even by praying long enough or hard enough to grab God’s ears.
And, it’s not even by making a trip to a ’sanctuary’ in a certain geographical location!
But it is simply, by SPEAKING !!!

God gave us the Promises for our every need, and said if we would simply SPEAK them out loud as already done(**), THEN we would have what we SAY !!
Praise God.
And He is not a man that will say one thing and then not do it! (Numbers 23:19)

Proverbs 18:21 — The tongue has the power of life and death
Proverbs 13:2 — From the fruit of his lips a man enjoys good things
Proverbs 13:3 — He who guards his lips guards his life
Psalm 50:23 — to him that ordereth (commands, makes) his conversation aright (correctly) will I shew the salvation of God
Joshua 1:8 – This book of the Law must not depart from your mouth, (keep speaking it; don’t have other words in your mouth contrary to the Word of God) but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success.

(**Note: Speak God’s Promises as Past Tense / already accomplished in our lives, because that is how God’s Promises are written for us … PAST TENSE, as though they are already accomplished and done… one example: By Christ’s stripes we WERE healed, 1 Ptr 2:24)
