  1. I do not see inthe bible where we have to keep saying the same thing over and over. Why do you say we have to keep saying things over and over again, when it doesn’t say so in the bible?

    • @ NB:

This is a good question so thank you for stopping in and asking it.

There are a number of reasons why we should allow the Word of God to be spoken from our lips, continually. I have 10 Scriptures showing WHY CONTINUAL CONFESSION, seen at:

      http://faithspeaksinc.wordpress.com/2009/08/03/is-continual-confession-necessary/

      Briefly:
Jesus said we HAVE WHAT WE SAY (Mark 11:23) if we believe what we say occurs. And Romans 10:17 teaches us that FAITH comes by HEARING God’s Word.

Therefore, by continually speaking God’s Promises over our lives, our spirit man gets the opportunity to grow in Faith regarding the Scriptures we are quoting / speaking over and over. Our spirit man grows in faith, and then our faith moves the mountains of trouble away = we see the fruit of our lips manifest and we get what we say.

Joshua 1:8 tells us to keep God’s Word in our mouths, meditating on it day and night. James 3:4 and Proverbs 18:21 also teach us that we get what we say.

And if we are not giving voice to God’s Word as much as possible through out our day, then what are we speaking the entire 16 or so hours that we are awake? Speaking defeat and pain and sickness? Or fear or hopelessness? Or simply speaking empty, worthless words? So why not obey Joshua 1:8 and give voice to God’s Word, as much of the day as possible???

Again, more Scriptures are provided at the LINK mentioned above.

Getting answers to our questions will always allow us to grow in faith … so thanks again for asking, and keep asking any other questions :)
      LeeAnn
