When you’ve waited in faith, for even 25 years, will you still believe God at His Word? (Genesis 15:4-6)
When something you love has died in your life, will you still believe the Promises God made regarding the very thing that has died? (2 Kings 4:20)
When there are hindrances (Mark 4:39, Acts 27:43) or outright attacks (Acts 9:25) against the very thing that God called you to accomplish, will you still believe God’s Words and Promises to you?
Even after making a Promise to you, God won’t always fulfill His Promise right away! Why? Because God is out to mature you. God wants your faith to mature and become so strong that it/you will stand immoveable in the face of every single attack that will come at you in the future. He wants you to believe Him at His Word, no matter what. This kind of faith not only pleases God but this kind of faith enables you to overcome all that is in the world which is contrary to God and His Kingdom.
So remember to hold on to all of God’s Promises with unwavering faith. Faith that won’t quit believing God at His Word exactly as it is written. By doing this, you will be pleasing God and allowing yourself to grow and mature.
This is the victory that has overcome the world, even our faith
1 John 5:4, NIV
And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him
Hebrews 11:6, NIV
