Questions From Others Explained & Testimonies
Remember Satan’s Tactics
Mark 4 –
14 The sower soweth the word. 15 And these are they by the way side, where the word is sown; but when they have heard, Satan cometh immediately, and taketh away the word that was sown in their hearts. 16 And these are they likewise which are sown on stony ground; who, when they have heard the word, immediately receive it with gladness; 17 And have no root in themselves, and so endure but for a time: afterward, when affliction or persecution ariseth for the word’s sake, immediately they are offended..
.It was around 1993 when I first received the revelation that God and His Word and His Will are one-in-the-same, and that what is written in the Bible is the Truth and can be stood upon as Truth and that all circumstances in life would bow the knee to the Word IF I stood my ground with faith and patience {Hebrews 6:12}. I received this Revelation that all of the Promises of God were for me {2 Cor 1:20} with GREAT JOY, even as Mark 4:16 states.
But even as Mark 4:17 states, “affliction” soon followed with the goal to tear the Word from my heart, and the affliction that came was strong enough that I finally did give up believing the Word for health and healing which I was standing upon.
I had returned from India as a missionary, weak and emotionally broken and sick, and then in December 1992 my girl was born sick. She not only had eczema, as I’ve written about in another post found in the “Testimonies” category, but she also had chronic sinus problems.
But when I heard in 1993 that healing would come to her if I would “believe that I have received” the answer to my prayer at the moment that I prayed, a new hope sprung up in me. So I prayed and believed I received my answer and then waited to see the answer manifest.
I waited one month and still my girl remained sick.
I waited three months and still nothing was happening.
I thought I was believing that I had my answer, so why wasn’t my girl getting better?
It was finally around the eighth month that I dropped all hope in the Word as being True for my girl’s health.
I forgot that I had an enemy who was strongly opposing the Word of health that I was standing on and I gave in to the doubts that the Word “wasn’t working”.
As I turned my back on believing that every Word in the Bible was True and for me, a bitterness set in and I became angry with God, Who did not seem to keep His Word. (*)
Why do I write all of this?
Because I am currently watching people I know let the Word of God be plucked from their hearts also.
After praying and “believing they have received” and then waiting for what seems to be too long of a period of time, I see people giving up hope in the Word.
They are not remembering what the tactic of their enemy is.
It would be ten long years of despair, rage, bitterness, and even a suicide attempt, before I would even dare trust God at His Word again, and it is my desire that all who are facing the same hopelessness because the Word doesn’t seem to be “working”, be encouraged by this Post. It is my desire that you avoid the same pitfalls that I fell into and that you come through the “testing of your faith” victoriously {James 1:2-4}!
Satan had come to steal, kill and destroy the Word from my heart and he did so in a large way! He nearly stole, killed, and destroyed my very life and nearly destroyed my marriage and my family as well.
It wasn’t until 2003 that I turned to God again and stated, “God I need Your Word to be True so much in my life. How can I believe that salvation is True, if Your Words about healing aren’t True? How can I believe any part of Your Word, if I can’t walk in the freedom Jesus talked about? I need Your Word to be True in my life, Father, because I can’t live this way any longer and I need Your help. You’ve shown Yourself as real in my life many times in the past, so I will choose to believe You at Your Word again Father. Come hell or high-water I am going to believe You at Your Word from now on and I totally expect that Your Words will be True in my life.”
That was in 2003 and as many may recall from the Posts I have written on this Blog, I have since seen God’s Word do exactly what It says It will do, many times over these past years. I have seen God’s Word as absolute Truth in my life.
But what changed between 1993 and 2003?
I changed.
Total and utter desperation set in and it made me absolutely determined to NEVER let go of the Word of God as final authority and as Truth in my life again.
God would be to me either ALL Truth ALL the time, or a God Who couldn’t be trusted at His Word.
I also realized that if I was truly “believing” that I had “received” my answer at the moment I prayed to God, then I would have to change my speaking the moment after my prayer. I would have to act like I had my answer, even before my eyes saw the answer. And I would have to talk like I had my answer, even before my eyes saw the answer.
I made a strong determination to stand on the Word … no matter what.
Now many may say…
“Oh, LeeAnn, just because I don’t see all of God’s Promises take place in my life on earth, perhaps even as I’d like, it doesn’t mean I don’t love God. And I am not going to turn my back on God.”
I am glad that many don’t get as angry at God that they backslide like I did, but when letting go of a Promise in your life you are still allowing satan to pluck the Word from your heart! If satan has successfully plucked the Promises for health {Ps 103:3, 1 Peter 2:24} or freedom from bondages or sin from you {Romans 6:12,14} or if he has successfully plucked the Word of your authority over all his power from you {Luke 10:19} then he has left you powerless and defeated on this earth … and again, I am seeing too many people walking in despair and hurt, hopelessness and defeat, and giving up on “hoping” or “believing” that God will intervene in their lives, for “hope deferred makes the heart sick” {Proverbs 13:12} … and many times if left unchecked, this hopelessness, despair, and hurt CAN turn to hatred and bitterness towards God.
Here’s a Quick Testimony
In January 2004 I was very dramatically delivered from depression after stating that I was FREED since June 2003. But in January 2005, a strong depression once again tried to get a hold of me!
For one week, I spoke no Words of victory. I simply sat moping most of the day in my home. Fear also tried to grip me, because I did not want to return to the depression that I had been delivered from.
“This is just like in 1993! You believed for a little while, but the Word doesn’t REALLY work” the enemy spoke into my thoughts. “The Word doesn’t work. You aren’t free at all! You’ll always live a depressed life“. And I let satan’s words roll around in my brain for about one week.
But at the end of one week I remembered HOW I got free in the first place. I remembered that I SPOKE THE WORD DAILY over my life.
I had prayed once to bind depression and hatred and rage off of me, then from that time forward every day I proclaimed, “I AM free from depression and depression will never have a hold on me again. Thank You Jesus for freeing me!“
I spoke that way every single day, even during rage or depression episodes.
So in January 2005, I KNEW I had to start speaking the Word out loud once again. Even though I did not feel like it, I knew the Word was my power. I knew the Word was my Sword to cut this depression and fear off me.
So I squeaked out of my mouth, pretty lamely, “I am free from depression forever. And I love to speak God’s Word over my life daily“.
I said the last part of that sentence, because if I could get my joy and love back for speaking the Word over my life then I knew depression would be quick to go! I was calling things as though they WERE, even before I could see it with my eyes {Romans 4:17}.
And so I continued to call myself free from depression for one week and I continued to state that I loved speaking God’s Words over my life.
One week.
Please get this.
As many may recall who have read through my “Testimonies” category, there are times that I have “spoken the Word of God” {Mark 11:23} and/or prayed the “prayer of faith” {Mark 11:24} and have seen extremely quick or immediate results {like my dad’s broken neck being healed within 5 days of praying the Matthew 18:19 “prayer of agreement” with my husband for my dad’s healing} and then there have been times where I have prayed the “prayer of faith” {Mark 11:24} and simply stood BELIEVING that the prayer “worked” for many years before seeing the manifestation of the Word in the natural realm {like with my little girl for freedom from eczema, again, as detailed in the “Testimonies” category}.
And THIS is the KEY:
Faith WITH patience. Never giving up. Choosing to believe the Word is the TRUTH no matter what … and then ACTING and SPEAKING like the Word is the Truth, all the time, from the moment after you say the AMEN!
God is NOT Sovereign to change His Word, otherwise He would be unreliable, changeable, fickle, not faithful and untrustworthy … at best.
He could be called a liar, at worst.
Please my brothers and sisters, who are at the point of giving up…
Remember the enemy has come to steal the Word from your heart.
Remember the enemy stands opposing all the Words of God so that you won’t hope in His Word as Truth ever again.
Remember that by faith WITH patience you WILL receive all of the Promises of God for your life and for your family’s life … IF you will continue in faith and not give up the Promise.
For ALL of the Promises are YES in Christ Jesus for us. And now all we have to do is say the “Amen” or “So Be It” and then STAND believing and speaking and acting as though the Word is True. And after having done all, keep standing! And as you stand believing God at His Word, I pray:
Now (I ask that) the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost.
{Romans 15:13}
for
this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our FAITH
{1 John 5:4}
(*) Ending thought:
In 1993 I did not have the revelation that my mouth had the “power of death and life” {Proverbs 18:21} and so I never confessed daily that “by Christ’s stripes (my girl) was healed” {1 Peter 2:24}. It is our mouths speaking God’s Words daily that will keep our minds from wandering off into doubt and questioning and fear.
Speaking the Word DAILY is the key to receiving the Promises of God in our lives as speaking the Word keeps cutting at strongholds in the spirit realm, it keeps our minds focused on Truth and off doubt, and it builds our spirit man in faith, for faith comes by hearing God’s Word.

Your articles have been so helpful, especially as of late. I am all about “learn from my mistakes” too (the lesson others can take from me is that building a foundation *before* a crisis hits is much easier than trying to build a foundation during a crisis), so I really appreciate your sharing this truth. I am saving this one to my heart.
I would bet you’re reaching far more people more impactfully than you’re aware with these incredible, thought-provoking, and faith-building teachings. God bless you and your family richly!

Thank you, Yoojin! Norvel Hayes has been a great one to teach through his trials, errors, and successes, and I LOVED that about him so much that it is what I had hoped to do when I started this Blog, so thank you for the encouragement regarding such.
I think, just like you wrote, that we do really encourage one another by letting each other know how long a waiting period took, or the pitfalls we fell into so that others can avoid them! Otherwise, some people think this “Faith Message” should just work immediately, every time, at the first moment we confess something, with no testings or trials.
So thank you once again …. and I continue to stand praising God for blessing your entire family!!

Hi LeeAnn!
Hi Sister!
just letting You know that I too was inspired and refreshed in reading and hearing Your testimony and exhortation…the children and I were all dragging this morning and after reading we had a glad marching dance all around the kitchen Singing Truths about Our Righteous Father and His Word. Transformative! THAnkyou. All Praise Honor and Glory to Our Lord The Only God, Almighty, Maker of Heaven and Earth! This reminds me that I continue to wonder about the answer Jesus gave when He was asked how to pray…”Our Father, Who Art In Heaven…”…the part ‘lead us not into temptation’ does not seem correct as a petition, given the Truth of James 11:13,14.. I have spoken this prayer in the form of a positive confession of Who we are sure God is, sure God does, and sure what will happen/is happening and will be/is…not clear on it yet…thought I would see what You and Dave thought. Thanks! LoveYa’ll. SisterHeatherHereInVA…Hello! To My Nephew and Niece too!.
Correction to my last comment..That should have read James 1: 13,14…Pardon.

Hey, My Wonderful Sister !!
It was so inspiring to hear of your “dance around the kitchen WITH THE kids” !!!! What a wonderful, wonderful testimony of the power of a mom who sets the example to the kids! God bless you abundantly for showing them how to stand against emotions and trials that are contrary to God and His Word !!!!! They can grow up so strong in the Word and the things of God, by you remembering to do this WITH them. xxx
As for the “Lead us not into temptation” question James 1:13-15 reads:
13-When tempted, no one should say, “God is tempting me.” For God cannot be tempted by evil, nor does he tempt anyone; 14-but each one is tempted when, by his own evil desire, he is dragged away and enticed. 15-Then, after desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and sin, when it is full-grown, gives birth to death.
And Christ’s prayer reads:
And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For your is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen. – Matthew 6:13
Jesus could be saying here, “Father, lead me AWAY FROM or AROUND the temptations and snares the devil has set for me this day. Father, deliver me from evil and give me a heads up, give me wisdom, and give me discernment on how to avoid trouble and temptation today”.
And James, who grew up in the same household with Jesus, could be giving us some more insight to this Prayer as we can see that the entire context of James 1:1-18 is about trails/tests/temptations and HOW to walk through them victoriously.
James states we should ask for wisdom from God when we are in the midst of a trial … a trial can be a temptation to do the wrong thing/react the wrong way. So I think asking God for wisdom can also be meant in Christ’s Words as well, if we find we are in the midst of a temptation or trial, so we could see Christ’s Words as something like, “God lead me away from, or out of, this trouble. Please give me wisdom and discernment Father and lead me around the snares and traps the enemy has set for me. Deliver me from evil and temptation and wrong ways of handling this situation, Father.”
I am not meaning to change any Words of Christ to fit my own doctrine, but since one Scripture is to always enlighten the other Scriptures and not meant to contradict, this is how I am reading these 2 Passages when placed together.
There are New Testament Scriptures which show that as long as we are living in this flesh on this Earth, there will be trails and tests and temptations … tests come to “prove” the “genuineness of (our) faith” (1 Peter 1:7) and trials come to try to make us “fall away” from God/His Word (Luke 8:13) … and Jesus knew this, so with all the different verses in mind, I believe Jesus was showing us to ask God to lead us away from the traps of the enemy which are meant to kill, steal, and destroy us (John 10:10).
And when any of us are going through a trial or test or temptation, lets hold fast to His Promises that will give us the determination to go through it with faith, and joy, and perseverance! He says, “Blessed is the one who perseveres under trial because, having stood the test, that person will receive the crown of lie that the Lord has promised to those who love Him”. Hallelujah! It helps to keep our eyes on the prize
All other thoughts on this are welcome!
Thank You! and Thank You for Your Prayers; Thank YOU LORDGOD for YOURWORD…for YOURWORD IS TRUTH…

Young’s Literal Translation
1 Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ through the will of God, to the saints who are in Ephesus, and to the faithful in Christ Jesus: 2 Grace to you, and peace from God our Father, and the Lord Jesus Christ!
3 Blessed is the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who did bless us in every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ, 4 according as He did choose us in him before the foundation of the world, for our being holy and unblemished before Him, in love, 5 having foreordained us to the adoption of sons through Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His will, 6 to the praise of the glory of His grace, in which He did make us accepted in the beloved, 7 in whom we have the redemption through his blood, the remission of the trespasses, according to the riches of His grace, 8 in which He did abound toward us in all wisdom and prudence, 9 having made known to us the secret of His will, according to His good pleasure, that He purposed in Himself, 10 in regard to the dispensation of the fulness of the times, to bring into one the whole in the Christ, both the things in the heavens, and the things upon the earth — in him; 11 in whom also we did obtain an inheritance, being foreordained according to the purpose of Him who the all things is working according to the counsel of His will, 12 for our being to the praise of His glory, even those who did first hope in the Christ, 13 in whom ye also, having heard the word of the truth — the good news of your salvation — in whom also having believed, ye were sealed with the Holy Spirit of the promise, 14 which is an earnest of our inheritance, to the redemption of the acquired possession, to the praise of His glory.
15 Because of this I also, having heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus, and the love to all the saints, 16 do not cease giving thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers, 17 that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of the glory, may give to you a spirit of wisdom and revelation in the recognition of him, 18 the eyes of your understanding being enlightened, for your knowing what is the hope of His calling, and what the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, 19 and what the exceeding greatness of His power to us who are believing, according to the working of the power of His might, 20 which He wrought in the Christ, having raised him out of the dead, and did set him at His right hand in the heavenly places, 21 far above all principality, and authority, and might, and lordship, and every name named, not only in this age, but also in the coming one; 22 and all things He did put under his feet, and did give him — head over all things to the assembly, 23 which is his body, the fulness of Him who is filling the all in all,

Also you — being dead in the trespasses and the sins, 2 in which once ye did walk according to the age of this world, according to the ruler of the authority of the air, of the spirit that is now working in the sons of disobedience, 3 among whom also we all did walk once in the desires of our flesh, doing the wishes of the flesh and of the thoughts, and were by nature children of wrath — as also the others, 4 and God, being rich in kindness, because of His great love with which He loved us, 5 even being dead in the trespasses, did make us to live together with the Christ, (by grace ye are having been saved,) 6 and did raise us up together, and did seat us together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, 7 that He might show, in the ages that are coming, the exceeding riches of His grace in kindness toward us in Christ Jesus, 8 for by grace ye are having been saved, through faith, and this not of you — of God the gift, 9 not of works, that no one may boast; 10 for of Him we are workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to good works, which God did before prepare, that in them we may walk.
11 Wherefore, remember, that ye were once the nations in the flesh, who are called Uncircumcision by that called Circumcision in the flesh made by hands, 12 that ye were at that time apart from Christ, having been alienated from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers to the covenants of the promise, having no hope, and without God, in the world; 13 and now, in Christ Jesus, ye being once afar off became nigh in the blood of the Christ, 14 for he is our peace, who did make both one, and the middle wall of the enclosure did break down, 15 the enmity in his flesh, the law of the commands in ordinances having done away, that the two he might create in himself into one new man, making peace, 16 and might reconcile both in one body to God through the cross, having slain the enmity in it, 17 and having come, he did proclaim good news — peace to you — the far-off and the nigh, 18 because through him we have the access — we both — in one Spirit unto the Father. 19 Then, therefore, ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellow-citizens of the saints, and of the household of God, 20 being built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being chief corner -stone, 21 in whom all the building fitly framed together doth increase to an holy sanctuary in the Lord, 22 in whom also ye are builded together, for a habitation of God in the Spirit.
