As we “hold fast to our confession” by daily thanking God for His Promises (even before we see them as reality in our lives) we are doing a couple things:
We are enforcing the Truth of the Word in the spirit realm, which may be trying to stop the Truth from manifesting in our lives, and we are keeping our mind fixed on His Promise so that our thoughts won’t wander off in unbelief.
By continually confessing the Promises of God over our lives, it is one way in which we can be fulfilling the Scriptures which tell us to “Pray without ceasing“!
Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for he who promised is faithful.
Hebrews 10:23
And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the saints.
Ephesians 6:18
Then Jesus told his disciples a parable to show them that they should always pray and not give up.
Luke 18:1
7 And will not God bring about justice for his chosen ones, who cry out to him day and night? Will he keep putting them off? 8 I tell you, he will see that they get justice, and quickly. However, when the Son of Man comes, will he find faith on the earth?”
Luke 18:7,8
Devote yourselves to prayer, being watchful and thankful.
Colossians 4:2
