Audio Prayer For:
Freedom From Depression
and
Walking Daily in God’s Joy
For the dear reader who feels like they’ve made a mess of their life because of their depression and inability to connect with others …
I say, please don’t give up on reading, believing, and confessing the Scriptures as God’s Truths just for you!
God is a God of forgiveness and restoration, Who not only forgives us of our wrongs that we may actually have committed in our lives because of our depression, but He also desires to impart joy to us through the revelation of His forgiveness and He can place joy in all of our relationships as we start to walk in God’s abundant joy and forgiveness and let that flow through us to the others in our lives around us!
Just look at the GREAT NEWS that God proclaims to us in Isaiah 61:
1 The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is on me, because the Lord has anointed me to preach good news to the poor. He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners, 2 to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor and the day of vengeance of our God, to comfort all who mourn, 3 and provide for those who grieve in Zion — to bestow on them a crown of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of gladness instead of mourning, and a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair. They will be called oaks of righteousness, a planting of the Lord for the display of his splendor. … 6 And you will be called priests of the Lord, you will be named ministers of our God. You will feed on the wealth of nations, and in their riches you will boast. 7 Instead of their shame my people will receive a double portion, and instead of disgrace they will rejoice in their inheritance; and so they will inherit a double portion in their land, and everlasting joy will be theirs. 8 “For I, the Lord, love justice; I hate robbery and iniquity. In my faithfulness I will reward them and make an everlasting covenant with them. 9 Their descendants will be known among the nations and their offspring among the peoples. All who see them will acknowledge that they are a people the Lord has blessed.” 10 I delight greatly in the Lord; my soul rejoices in my God. For he has clothed me with garments of salvation and arrayed me in a robe of righteousness, as a bridegroom adorns his head like a priest, and as a bride adorns herself with her jewels. 11 For as the soil makes the sprout come up and a garden causes seeds to grow, so the Sovereign Lord will make righteousness and praise spring up before all nations.
Do you believe God’s Word?
Can you DARE to believe God’s Word?
Can you dare to believe that God’s Word – even the above Isaiah 61 - is TRUTH for you and for your life?
Please choose to. Take a step toward God once again, one more time in your life. Reach out to Him for His help to give you that freedom you so much desire in your life. And help God to help you, by meditating on His Scriptures and choosing to BELIEVE His Word is FOR YOU.
We all need a revelation of God’s goodness (Ephesians 1:18), and when you choose to meditate on God’s Word you will get that revelation, for “faith comes from hearing God’s Word” (Romans 10:17). Choose to open your Bible and meditate on His Promises for you. Or scroll through my “Confessing the Word” Categories on the right of this page, and print those Scriptures off the computer and put them around your home for you to read out loud, and ponder on, every single day.
It is ONLY by speaking the Word out loud daily, by choosing to believe God’s Word was for me, and by worshiping and thanking God daily for freeing me, that I got free.
I did the route of doctors and counselors, but only the power of the Truth set me free!
Jesus said, “If you hold to my teaching, you are really my disciples. 32Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” – John 8:31,32
You are loved by God.
You have been forgiven and set free from the curse, the law, sin and wrath, in order to walk in freedom.
Now all you have to do is renew your mind to these Truths.
