Can God’s Word Be Trusted?
Below are a number of Scriptures teaching us / reminding us that God’s Word is absolutely trustworthy, as well unchanging and forever settled in the heavens!
As you meditate on these Truths and even incorporate these Truths into your daily confession / prayer time, you will see your faith soar as you remind yourself that God is not a liar!
I praise the Lord for His Word which heals us, sanctifies us, separates us unto righteous living, empowers us, and brings anything in this natural world, that we can believe for, into line with His Word! Hallelujah!

Psalm 8 – “The word of the Lord is eternal and stands firm in the heavens”
Psalm 12 –6 The words of the Lord are pure words, like silver refined in an earthen furnace, purified seven times.
Psalm 18 – 30 God-His way is perfect; the word of the Lord is pure.
Psalm 33:4 – For the word of the Lord is right and true; He is faithful in all He does
Psalm 89 – 33 I will not withdraw My faithful love from him or betray MY faithfulness. 34 I will not violate My covenant or change what My lips have said.
Psalm 93 – 5 Lord, Your Words are completely reliable; because holiness is the beauty of Your house for all the days to come.
Psalm105 - 7 He is the Lord our God; His judgments [govern] the whole earth. 8 He forever remembers His covenant, the promise He ordained for a thousand generations – 10 (His covenant is) an everlasting covenant:
Psalm 111 – 4 The Lord is gracious and compassionate. 5 He remembers His covenant (His Promises) forever. 7 The works of His hands are truth and justice; (there is no lie or deceit in Him) all His instructions(and Words) are trustworthy. 8 (His Word is) is established forever and ever, enacted in truth and uprightness. 9 He has ordained His covenant forever.
Psalm 117 – 1 Praise the Lord, all nations! Glorify Him, all peoples! 2 For great is His faithful love to us; the Lord’s faithfulness endures forever. Hallelujah!
Psalm 119 - 64 Lord, the earth is filled with Your faithful love; 89 Lord, Your word is forever; it is firmly fixed in heaven. 90 Your faithfulness is for all generations; 138 The decrees You issue are righteous and altogether trustworthy 142 and Your instruction is True. 160 The entirety of Your word is truth, and all Your righteous judgments endure forever
Psalm 138 (NAS) – 2 I will worship toward thy holy temple, And give thanks unto thy name for thy lovingkindness and for thy truth: For thou hast magnified thy WORD above all thy name. (You have exalted Your Promises above everything else – HCSB) “You have magnified Your word above Your name” (NKJ)
Psalm 146 – 5 Happy is the one whose help is the God of Jacob, whose hope is in the Lord his God, 6 He remains faithful forever
Proverbs 30 – 5 Every word of God is pure
Isaiah 45:23 – By Myself I have sworn, My mouth has uttered in all INTEGRITY, a word that will not be revoked
Jeremiah 1 – 12 The Lord said to me, “You have seen correctly, for I watch over My word to accomplish it.”
Numbers 23: 19,20 – “God is not a man that He should lie, nor is He the son of man, that He should change His mind. When He speaks He acts, and when He promises He fulfills His promise”
John 1:1 – In the beginning was the Word….and THE WORD WAS GOD
Matthew 24:35 – Heaven and earth will pass away, but My WORDS will NEVER PASS AWAY
Luke 21:33 – Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will never pass away
John 17:17 – Sanctify them by the truth: Your WORD IS TRUTH
2 Corinthians 1:20 – “For ALL of the promises God has made are YES because of Christ Jesus” OR “For no matter how many promises God has made they are YES in Christ. And so through him we say “Amen” to the glory of God”
Hebrews 4:12 – The word of the Lord is living and is powerful
Hebrews 6:18 – It is impossible for God to lie
Hebrews 10:23 – Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for He who promised IS FAITHFUL
Titus 1: 2 – God Who does not lie
1 Peter 1: 23, 25 – “The word of God is Living and enduring and the word of the Lord stands forever”

Sample Prayer:
I believe You Father God, at Your Word. I believe You are not a liar and I believe Your Words are forever settled in the heavens.
I believe You are the same yesterday, today, and forever, and I will therefore believe that what You say in Your Word is mine, right now, because I am a Born Again Believer, made righteous in Christ Jesus.
I am a Believer and not a doubter! I choose to be a Believer and not a doubter. And I believe the Word accomplishes in my life, exactly what it states, right now. Before my eyes even see it, it is Truth and it is accomplished, because I believe the Word is the Truth … always. In Jesus’ name. Amen. (1 John 5:14-16)
