Outline Of God’s

COVENANT AGREEMENT

.

.

.

Let’s stand in Agreement with God’s Covenant for us and for our family members.

From Deuteronomy 29:10-14

I thank you Father, for allowing me to stand before you today. I stand here representing my entire family … my husband or wife, my children, my in-laws, my brothers and my sisters.

I stand unwavering, in my Covenant with You, Father, through the blood of Jesus, so that You may establish me and my family members as Your people … a people holy and separated unto Yourself and for Your glory.

I thank You, that You will be God to me and my family members forever, even as you swore to my forefathers, Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.

I thank You that even as my forefathers were not perfect in their own strength, yet You showed Yourself faithful and strong on their behalf because of Your Covenant with them.

And I thank You and I praise You, that the same blessing has come upon me in Christ Jesus, because Jesus became a curse for me and my family members, so that the Blessing of Abraham could come upon us, in Christ Jesus! {Galatians 3:10-14}

From Deuteronomy 30:2-20

I also praise You and I thank You Father God, for Your compassion upon me and my family members. I thank You for prospering us and circumcising my heart and the hearts of my descendants!!

I praise You for Covenanting with me for our good and for our prosperity … spirit, soul, and body … and I thank you for making us prosper and abound in ALL the works of our hands!

I believe You at Your Word, and I believe Your Covenant with me is for my family’s good, and that you do rejoice over us even as you rejoiced over our forefathers!

I choose to obey Your voice Lord.
I choose to obey Your commands and Your Words.

And I know that in doing such, You will watch over me and my family members daily, to bless us and to protect us!

I thank You that You have not made Your ways too hard or Your Covenant too hard or mysterious, so that I cannot obey and perform all that You require of me. But instead, You have put your Words into my heart and You have put Your Words into my mouth, so that I can keep all of Your commands, so that I and my descendants may live!

Thank You, Father, for giving us life and blessing, prosperity and goodness!

I choose life today.
I choose Your peace, Your blessing, Your Lordship, and Your prosperity.

And I praise You and thank You for enabling me and all my family members to choose life, and so cling to you, and live!

I give You all glory and honor and praise, for making such an awesome and wonderful Covenant with me, and for calling me and my family members Your children!

In Jesus’ name.

Please remember that even if you are not yet EXPERIENCING the full Blessing and Prosperity of God’s Covenant in your family members, you are then praying this Covenant Prayer by FAITH.

Faith is our ASSURANCE that we have what we desire.

Not that we are GOING TO HAVE, but that we HAVE, right now, what we desire and what God has Promised us.

And Faith is our confidence that we have what we have requested from God {Heb 11:1}.

So remember to mix your faith with your prayer, as you stand strong believing that God HAS made a Covenant with YOU AND YOUR HOUSEHOLD because of the blood of Jesus.

It is God’s desire to bless you with the blessings of Abraham and to bring peace, health, security, and prosperity to EVERY AREA in your life and in the lives of your loved ones.

Praise God for His loving kindness towards us, and His faithfulness to His Promises, Covenants, and oaths. Amen.

2 Corinthians 1:20: “For ALL of the Promises of God in {Christ Jesus} are YES, and in Him Amen, to the glory of God through us.” {NKJV}.

Galatians 3:13 & 14: “Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us … that the blessing of Abraham might come upon the Gentiles in Christ Jesus …” {NKJV}.

Is It A Miracle?

.

Is It A Miracle?

Or Is It Simply Covenant?

.

.
.

Several weeks ago, I watched an episode of a program entitled, “Against All Odds”.

.

It is a documentary-type series and “a fascinating journey into the history and events of modern Israel, and includes dramatic stories from 60 years of Israel’s turbulent history. Journalist Michael Greenspan interviews military leaders, battle commanders, strategists, and common soldiers on the field who provide their viewpoints of remarkable stories of heroism and bravery.”

.

The episode I recently watched, interviewed a man named EZRA.

.

Ezra made the most awesome statement which I have ever heard … and he is not even a professing Born-Again Christian.

.

When asked if he thought the times in his life in which he was amazingly ‘hidden from sight’ from the British while opposing the British occupation of Palestine, were miracles or not, Ezra calmly answered:

“No, I won’t talk about miracles.
I say it is a Promise.
It is a Covenant.”

.

Wow.

Can you hear the faith in the statement?

.

Ezra counts the move of God in his life as something to be EXPECTED. After all, he has a COVENANT!!!

.

This is an awesome way to look at God and His Promises.

.

Let’s just think about that statement for some time, and let it drop deep into our spirits.

.

Our God, our Father, has made some awesome Covenant Promises to us, as Born-Again, blood-bought children of God. And so we should expect our loving heavenly Father to do what He said He would do.

.

It isn’t miraculous when He moves on our behalf.

.

It’s His Promise to us.

It is COVENANT.

Hallelujah!

Did God Allow Your Sickness?

Category:
Is It God’s Will to Heal ?  /

Did God Allow Your Sickness?

.

False religion and/or Legalism says, “I’ve done something wrong,  I’ve sinned.  Therefore God has put this sickness upon me,  or has allowed this sickness to come upon me (or has allowed a trial to come upon me)  to teach me something,  or to humble me.”

But is this Scriptural?

There is not one New Testament Scripture to prove or support the above notion, and in fact it is contrary to New Testament Doctrine. For the Blood of Jesus is more powerful than any sin!  Therefore, the above thought process is simply FALSE  humiliation.

For Jesus Christ was beaten beyond any human recognition {Isaiah 52:14}.
He was beaten to a bloody pulp.
He bore all of our sin AND sickness in His body {1 Petet 2:24}.
And He was bruised for our iniquities {Is 53:5}.

Why then, would YOU need to suffer for / because of your sin?
What sin did you commit, what is so horrendous, that Christ’s blood did not / could not atone for it?
What heinous crime did you commit that you have to walk around sick, or in suffering and pain,  as you pay penance for your own sin?
.

NO!  We don’t have to flog ourselves, or allow ourselves to be beaten for any sin or short coming we’ve committed before God.
We don’t have to walk around on our knees in broken glass, nor do we have to accept any sickness in our body, grovelling before God and stating,  “Forgive me God, I’m sorry” when we’ve sinned and done something wrong!  No matter HOW LARGE the sin!
The blood cleanses us from ALL unrighteousness, and makes us the righteousness of God.  All we have to do is repent before God, accept His forgiveness and cleansing, and then walk in the holiness and righteousness which Christ purchased for us!

The blood cleanses us from all unrighteousness.
The cross heals all of our sicknesses and diseases.
And the blood has not lost any of it’s power all these 2,000 years after the cross!

Legalism would probably want to inject the story of King David  right about now, and state that because of his sin with Bathsheba, his child did indeed die.

But again, I will repeat 1 John 1:9 which says:
If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

The Old Testament saints were NOT the righteousness of God {2 Cor 5:21}.
They had no “once for all” atonement, but had to yearly make atonement for their sins {Hebrews 7:11,19}.
They were not FREED from sin, but were under a Law which showed them they needed a Savior! {Galatians 3:22-24}.

Legalism doesn’t like these statements, because it let’s the sinner “off the hook”.
Legalism wants to see the sinner pay for the screw up they committed.
But that is the glorious GOOD news of the gospel … Christ paid the price for us.  He paid the price for every screw up and sin we will ever commit.  Glory to God!

So, renew your mind to actual New Testament doctrine,  which tells us that God laid all of our sicknesses and all of our sin on the Lamb of God, Jesus Christ.

The Christian who will believe God AT HIS WORD,  will thank God for doing such and will refuse the religious, legalistic  thoughts which would want to force them to sit in a corner and FEEL bad about their mess up and sin and state, “I’m just a screw up and a  sinner and I need to learn something from this sickness.  I just know God is trying to humble me and teach me through this sickness (or this trial).”

Again….Renew Your Mind Today!
For once you know (and believe and accept)  the TRUTH
the Truth WILL set you free!

Hallelujah!

Isaiah 53 -
4 Surely He hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows;  yet we did esteem Him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted.  5  But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon Him; and with His stripes we are healed

Matthew 8 -
16 When the even was come, they brought unto Him many that were possessed with devils: and He cast out the spirits with His Word, and healed all that were sick:  17 That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Esaias (Isaiah) the prophet, saying, Himself took our infirmities, and bare our sicknesses.

Galatians 3 -
10 For as many as are of the works of the law are under the curse:  for it is written,  Cursed is every one that continueth not in all things which are written in the book of the law to do them.   11  But that no man is justified by the law in the sight of God, it is evident:  for, The just shall live by faith.   12  And the law is not of faith:  …  13  Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us:  for it is written, Cursed is everyon one that hangeth on a tree …

1 Peter 2 -
24  Who His own self bare our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, being (*) dead to sins, should live unto righteousness:  by whose stripes ye were healed. (* Roman 6:6,7,14, 18, 22 -  states we ARE dead to sin, now that we are Born Again)

Ending Statement:
Those who know me, know I am not a “sloppy grace” preacher.  Quite the contrary.

However, the New Testament teaches that condemnation is not for the New Testament Born Again Believer …
Godly sorrow unto repentance, however, IS  for the Sinner.

If any Born Again Believer WANTS to play in sin, they should read the Epistles and be warned.  God, indeed, is not mocked.

But the Born Again Believer who is caught in sin, while trying to be free, must believe 1 John 1:9 for themselves, always.

And if it is your desire to walk a victorious life,  free from the feeling that sin controls you, then read the posts in my Category entitled:   Walking In The Spirit.

Once you know the Truth, you will be freed from sin and condemning thoughts.
Amen.
