Colossians 2:15 tells us, that at the cross of Calvary, Jesus stripped and “disarmed the powers and authorities (and) made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them by the cross“.

It is done!  It is finished!  Satan has NO power over you or your household, except what power you let  him have.

Jesus has ALL the Authority and He has delegated His authority to you, the Believer, to use over all  the power of the enemy (Matthew 28:18-20).  You  have been given Christ’s authority over all the works of the enemy, and NOTHING can continue to harm you, from this moment on, if you will stand up against satan and exercise your rights as a child of God!  (Luke 10:19).

In Matthew 28:18-20  Jesus tells us ,

“All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to Me.  Therefore (YOU) go and make disciples …. teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you …”

But let me ask this question:
How can we ever  make disciples of any one, if we ourselves are in bondage and can’t / aren’t following Christ and His commandments?

How can we tell the un-saved that they can be free and walk “in the Spirit” as God gives us command, and how can we tell the un-saved that they can  walk in total victory over the lusts of the flesh as the New Testament commands, if we ourselves are not able to do such?

This is the focus of Faith Speaks Blogsite …. to get Believers up and on their feet in total victory, taking their God-given authority over satan and demonic attacks which try to keep us in bondages, in lusts, in un-forgiveness  and yes in sick beds, and which try to keep us from going out to the world to preach  the gospel and make disciples.

Some Blogsites focus on holiness.   Some focus on eschatology or cults.  This Blog focuses on equipping the Saints to rise up and walk in the power and freedom which the Bible states is already ours … present tense.

“Behold, I give unto you power to tred on serpents and scorpions, and over ALL the power of the enemy: and NOTHING shall by any means hurt  you”
(Luke 10:19)

Prayer to pray over your life:

I thank You  Father  that   You have given Your children authority over ALL of satan’s power (Luke 10:19)  and that he is now powerless and disarmed against our lives, as Born-Again children of God.

I thank You  that the power of satan IS BROKEN over my family members.

Thank You that the power of satan IS BROKEN over my children.

And I thank You that the power of satan IS BROKEN over my finances,   over my health, and over my body, and over my mind.

I praise You Father  that ALL power and authority has been given to Jesus Christ Your Son, and I praise and I thank You Jesus for sharing that authority with me, because I am a Born-Again  Believer, a child of God, and a co-heir with You  Christ Jesus!

I praise Your name  Father, for You have done GREAT and WONDERFUL things for Your children  and You have not left us as orphans in this life!

I believe You at Your Word  and I SAY that I AM FREE, I am protected, and I am blessed and I say I  DO walk in the fruit of the Spirit and do NOT gratify the lusts of the flesh, in Jesus’ name.

I believe You at Your Word which says that I  do have authority and power to resist temptation and ungodly thoughts  and I believe You at Your Word which says that  I do have authority over demons and demonic attacks in my mind and in my life, and in my family’s lives, and in Jesus’ name I thank You that when I resist the devil,  he DOES flee (James 4:7).   In Jesus’ name, amen!

Man’s Authority On Earth

This subject, when discussed, seems to provoke a lot of questions in people.

It can even provoke anger against anyone who suggests that man has authority on earth to change or rule circumstances.

A lot of Christians believe “GOD IS SOVEREIGN“ and that we humans, and even Christians on earth, simply HAVE TO PUT UP with whatever God chooses to do on earth or chooses to allow to happen on earth.

Statements such as, “God is Sovereign and  in control and He alone chooses what will happen on earth” are brought up to me, whenever I mention that MAN has authority on earth.

But think about this: to make the statement that God is in control of everything on earth, makes God seem like a careless God or a mean God.

So, is He IN control?   Is He Sovereign and does He do whatever He wants to do, all the time and in all situations?  Does He CHOOSE to rescue and save some people, and does He CHOOSE to allow sickness, disease, or tragedy on others to kill them?

Part 2

.The following is a common question that I hear:  “Well, I’ve been trusting God’s Word and standing on His Promises, so why am I still sick?”

.

.As I’ve stated in Part 1, there can be any number of reasons, so I have taken the time to write down some Scriptural reasons as to why one may still be sick, even after ‘trusting God to heal them’.

{And I believe this reminder is worth repeating:  Don’t be condemned by the Scriptures supplied, instead see them for what they truly are ….. God’s Word to teach us and correct us.

God tells us His methods and His ways to lead us to salvation, to lead us to victory,  and to lead us to healing … not to condemn us.}

.Reason # 2 Why People Remain Sick:

Do you believe that when you ‘command’ the sickness to leave your body, that it is done? .

.

Remember Lesson 1?
I brought up Mark 11:23 showing that Jesus said,  “I tell you the Truth, if anyone says to this mountain, ‘Go, throw yourself into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart but believes that what he says will happen, it will be done for him.”

I stated that Jesus taught we must first, TALK to our mountains / talk to our sicknesses / talk to our diseases and problems.  WE must TELL them to leave.

Now, step two would be to BELIEVE that what you SAID happens.

You must believe your WORDS have authority.

You must believe that when you say something, it is as good as done. .

.

No more hoping that it will be done.
No more hoping that the sickness will leave.
No more hoping that maybe your words will come true.

No …
You must BELIEVE that your words have authority.
You must believe that your words come to pass.
You must believe that when you say, “In the name of Jesus” you get exactly what you say..

.

Jesus taught it.
He said, IF you will believe that what you say will happen, then it WILL be done..

.Even if it doesn’t take place immediately.
Even if it doesn’t take place in one day.
Even if it doesn’t take place in one week.
You must continue to BELIEVE that what you SAY will happen AND THEN it will be done for you.

Again …. Jesus taught it.
This is not some new fangled doctrine made up by faith preachers.
This is the Word of God.

And the Word of God is true, and powerful, and forever settled in heaven.

And God has even exalted His Word above His name.

Believe God at His Word today, and watch your sicknesses / mountains be removed.  Amen..
